8/29/17 (Day 2) - Blog question, option 1:

Who is your hero or heroine in life and why?

  1. My heroine in life is my grandma on my mom's side. Right after I turned 3 years old, my grandma was diagnosed with breast cancer, and her doctor gave her 6 months to live. She told him that he could not decide her fate and proudly proved him wrong. Almost every summer I've visited her, the 2 of us have volunteered at the American Cancer Society. It is because of her determination, strength, and hope that my brother and I were able to get to know her and develop such a strong bond with her over the past years.

  2. My heroine in life would have to be my mom. She showed me the definition of working hard being an immigrant she held her own in a new country. She raised 3 kids putting 2 through college with one left being myself. She’s my inspiration because she showed me since I was young I can always achieve my goal if i apply myself. So i will continue working hard for not just for myself but for her too.

  3. My hero in in life is unquestionably my father. My father has always been a hard working man. Even though he always works from early mornings to late at night he always finds time to do things with my sisters and I. My father was the first coach that I ever had. I have always looked up to him. He taught me how to play Softball, in which, I still play today. Even though my father works crazy hours, he always makes time to come watch my games. He has never missed one. He is my hero, not only because he is a hard working man, but because he made me into the person I am today.

  4. My hero in my life is my grandmother. My grandmother is the ideal person that has overcome many struggles such as many sicknesses such as lupus and breast cancer however, she has such a happy spirit you'll never know when she was hurting. My grandmother had to remain strong for all 11 of her grandchildren that were always on her heels.

  5. It may be cliche but my mom is my heroine. she has taught me so much, including how to be strong and independent. showing me that you will not always win but you should always try. She has never given up on me or my bold dreams. Always encouraging me to dream more and step out of my comfort zone. she is the reason i drive so hard to be great. Her lessons are something I will always have. It is only right that she is my heroine.

  6. My hero is my father for so many reasons. The first reason is that he always work hard to support my family. The second reason is he always worry about my mother and my brothers. The third reason is he spend a lot of money to bring my family to USA. I didn't know him because when he came here I was 3 years old and I was living in Mexico. He came to USA when he was 25 years old and 26 years later he continues to worry about us like the first day. I started to be with him 3 years ago and I am really grateful with him. He is an amazing person and exemplary father. I want to be like him when I grow up because for me he is perfect, he respect my mother and my family. I love him so much and he is my hero!.
