Time management is very challenging because there is so many things that you would want to do but you have other responsibilities. I think it is better to get your work done as soon as it is assigned so don't procrastinate. If you keep pushing your homework or studying back until the day before it is due, you are more likely to get a bad grade. Also, if you have a quiz or test, start studying for it at least 3 days before you are supposed to take it. It also helps If you write down what you need to do for the day or work on a calendar or on your phone so you do not forget or miss anything important.
some of my best tips and practices for time management would be: investing in an agenda, prioritizing, and setting goals. Agendas are useful for staying organized with assignments that are due long term. Prioritizing is important because as an adult the decisions you make wont only affect your life in that moment but also in the long run. Lastly, setting goals is essential because it is important to have a clear goal of what you want to accomplish in life.
My best tips on time management is to set reminders on your phone. I forget a lot and I'm sure everyone else does too, so I set reminders around an hour before. Also do not overthink when you have so much to do at once. Take your time, when you are rushing you are more likely to mess up. Always be aware when have something planned for the day or week, try not to be the one that lets down someone who is really depending on you to do something.
Time management is fluid and is different for every person. For me, I find myself best managed with my time when I have constant reminders in my phone or written down on an actual paper for me to refer to. It helps to have something to refer to because you don't have to stress about keeping all of the activities and time frames inside your head to possibly forget them.
The best tips that I could offer anyone when it comes to time management is to not fall behind. When you fall behind you begin to panic, you are confused, not knowing what to do. Everyone has a different way of managing time whether that be getting everything done early, making a planner, or just waiting till the very last minute. Personally when it comes to time management I love to get as much done as possible early on so that's one less thing to worry about and allows more room for mistakes in case you miss class or even fall behind because of personal problems. Those are my tips to managing time responsibly.
