If I had the chance right now to change something that would improve my chances of achieving ultimate success would be reevaluating who I surround myself around. The people that I call my friends aren't always on the right path and I do not need any distractions stopping me from achieving any of my goals I want to accomplish in life.
The one thing I could do right now to improve my chances towards success is to break out of my shell and become a little more open towards the people I trust. If I could be slightly more open with others, then I will be able to get my point across without fearing anyone's opinion of what I say or do. This skill would also be useful in the business world because you need to be fearless to speak your mind.
What I could do right now to improve my chances of achieving ultimate success is to be more outgoing, and to talk to people more. I am a very shy person, and tend to be very timid when meeting someone for the first time. This may lead to me having short awkward conversations, and ultimately me having a bad first impression. So often, what I typically do is avoid conversation in fear of that happening. Throughout my years, I have missed so many opportunities due to me being too shy to speak or even introduce myself. What I have learned is that relationships and connections are key not only to success but to life. I wholeheartedly believe that if I fixed this problem of mine, achieving success would improve ten-fold.
For one , I could be more dedicated into finishing a certain task given to me. I have a history of procrastinating when it comes to my work and my studies. This feeling usually comes around the weekend when I usually forget I have homework or due assignments. I know I have this problem and I hope in college I learn is to just do things on time and not for it to be sloppy at all.
